Mala studied French and German at the University of Bristol. She subsequently converted to law and was awarded a distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.
She joined Wilsons as a Here for Good solicitor in January 2021, working primarily on complex applications for vulnerable EEA nationals and their family members under the EU Settlement Scheme.
Before joining Wilsons, Mala worked at Wesley Gryk Solicitors where she trained as a solicitor. She gained experience in a wide range of immigration, nationality and asylum applications, developing particular expertise in spouse and partner visas, family and private life applications, and European applications.
Mala is a volunteer lawyer at the Waterloo Legal Advice Service and for UKLGIG. She is also an active member of and trainer for the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA).
