Marcela Navarrete and Jed Pennington become equity partners at Wilson Solicitors

We are very pleased to announce that Marcela Navarrete and Jed Pennington have agreed to join the LLP membership of the firm today. Marcela and Jed are outstanding lawyers, supervisors, mentors and ambassadors for the firm and we cannot be more delighted to have them on board.

Marcela is a partner in our Immigration Department; she said

Since joining Wilsons as a trainee in 2008, qualifying as a solicitor and then becoming a partner, I’ve always been so proud of the work that we do at the firm. I am now delighted to be joining the membership and work with colleagues who continue to inspire and support me.

Jed is joint head of our Public Law and Human Rights Department; he said

I am honoured and thrilled to be given the opportunity to join the firm’s membership. Since returning to the firm five years ago, I have had the privilege of working alongside hugely talented colleagues on some of the most important cases challenging abuses of power in the immigration system. I look forward to continuing that work, alongside ensuring that Wilson continues to be the special place to work that it is.
