She is looking forward to developing her expertise and broadening her experience in judicial review and civil claim work.
Lizi joined Wilsons in September 2020 as a billing assistant. She moved to the Immigration department in January 2022 and became a senior immigration caseworker in January 2023. She completed her training contract in the department and qualified as a solicitor in May 2025. She has worked on a broad range of cases, including initial asylum claims, human rights and deportation appeals, and has developed experience with complex detention cases, including judicial review claims challenging unlawful detention and urgent removals. She has worked on a number of cases with elements of trafficking and modern slavery and has extensive experience working with vulnerable clients with complex needs, including young asylum seekers and clients with complex mental health conditions. She is looking forward to embarking on the next chapter as a solicitor at Wilsons and continuing to develop her practice.

Sara joined Wilsons in November 2021, initially in the billing department, before moving to the Public Law & Human Rights team in April 2023.
