Sultan graduated from the University of Surrey in 2018 where he read Law with International Studies LLB. During his time at Surrey, Sultan served as Vice-President of the Politics Society and co-founded and served as President of the Model United Nations Society which was awarded the Best New Society at the University.
Sultan maintains an interest in challenging the practice of immigration detention and he volunteered full-time as a caseworker at Bail for Immigration Detainees where he worked within the Right to Liberty project. At BID, Sultan worked primarily with vulnerable clients such as torture victims, people with severe mental or physical illnesses and long-term detainees.
Sultan joined Wilson’s in 2019 and works as a caseworker in our immigration department.
