Rebecca studied BA International Relations and Politics at the University of Sheffield before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2013. She completed the Legal Practice Course in 2017 and was awarded a Distinction.
Rebecca joined the Wilson’s Public Law team in 2014 and qualified as a solicitor in July 2018. She is also IAAS level 2 accredited in Immigration and Asylum work.
Rebecca regularly acts for vulnerable clients and has a wide range of experience in claims against public authorities, judicial review, community care and immigration. Her particular interest lies in challenging ongoing immigration detention and assisting individuals to secure their rights. Rebecca also assists those affected by the Windrush Scandal and in obtaining compensation for harm/loss suffered by actions of public authorities.
Whilst at university, Rebecca volunteered at a safe house for victims of sex trafficking and at an asylum law centre.
