Kauser graduated from the University of Kent in 2016 and subsequently spent a number of years working in criminal litigation in her home town of Brentford in West London.
She was awarded the Anti-Tribalism Movement fellowship in 2018 for her contributions to the Somali Community which came with a scholarship to study a Law and Community Leadership PgDip at SOAS, University of London.
In 2019, she was awarded a scholarship from the Aziz Foundation to study for her LLM in Legal Practice.
Following successful completion of her LLM she joined Wilsons as a caseworker in the family department in September 2020 and became a Trainee Solicitor in 2022.
Kauser assists on a wide variety of family issues, both public and private family law matters.
Outside of work Kauser is the Chairperson of the Metropolitan Police’s Somali Independent Advisory Group.
