Juanita Kareer studied Law at the London School of Economics and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.
Juanita joined the firm in 2010 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2013. She is a member of the Children’s Panel
Juanita now practises exclusively in Family Law. She has experience in all areas including divorce and financial remedy, private law children matters including contact and residence disputes and public law children matters, representing parents and other family members
Juanita is an in-house advocate who undertakes advocacy on her own cases as well as cases for other solicitors within the department. Juanita regularly appears at the Edmonton, Barnet, Central and East London family courts.
Juanita has experience in acting for clients with mental health issues and learning difficulties. She also has an interest in representing victims of domestic violence.
Juanita also receives referrals from domestic abuse support organisations and PACT (prison support organisation). Juanita has volunteered at the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre as a mentor and supervisor to Law students working at the Legal Advice Centre within the University.
Juanita won the award for Supervisor of the Year for 2016-2017.
She is also an Honorary Legal Adviser at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau within the Central Family Court.
