1) Vacancy for Immigration Solicitors and Senior Caseworkers

We are recruiting for immigration solicitors and senior immigration caseworkers to join our committed team of over thirty specialists.

We have a mixed practice of legal aid and privately funded work.

Solicitor role:

Solicitors are encouraged to develop their interests and to become experts in their chosen area of immigration law. This may be publicly funded work including Judicial Review and strategic litigation, or privately funded work including all Immigration Rules based applications and human rights appeals.

Solicitors who wish to work on publicly funded cases must be accredited to at least Senior Caseworker level under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation Scheme (IAAS).

Salary: From £32,000 according to experience.

 

Senior Caseworker role:

Senior Caseworkers work primarily on publicly funded asylum, detention, and immigration matters. They have conduct of their own caseload under the supervision of a solicitor.  For this role you must be accredited as a Senior Caseworker under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation Scheme (IAAS) or be accredited as an Assistant Caseworker with an intention to accredit as a Senior Caseworker in the near future. This role can lead to a training contract for those looking to qualify as a solicitor.

Salary: From £25,000 per annum according to experience.

2) Vacancy for Caseworkers

 

We are a highly respected Legal 500 and Chambers recognised law firm with a strong reputation for its family, immigration and public law work. We represent both publicly funded clients through legal aid and private clients.

 

Our busy departments are now looking to recruit for the next generation of lawyers.

 

You are invited to apply for a role in one of our departments to be chosen by you according to your interests;

 

Family caseworkers will work on family and children law cases.

 

Immigration caseworkers will work on immigration, refugee and human rights cases

 

Public Law caseworkers will work on judicial reviews, actions against public authorities, and community care cases.

 

In all roles you will assist our solicitors with the preparation of their cases and have considerable client contact. You will receive excellent training, supervision and support.

 

After 12 months as a caseworker you will be considered for a training contract if your performance has met expectations. The role is suitable for those studying for the GDL or LPC part-time and also for those yet to embark on formal studies to become a solicitor.

 

Starting salary; £23,000

3) Vacancy for Junior Administrative Assistant

 

We are seeking a junior administrative assistant to assist with post opening, reception and telephone tasks and supportive administrative work such as photocopying and file storage.

 

This is a full-time position, 9 – 5pm (35 hours per week) and the salary is £19,201.

 

We are a living wage employer.
