Anastasia studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University, graduating in 2015. She went on to achieve a distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course.
Anastasia completed her training contract at Bhatt Murphy, where she assisted with inquests and complex civil claims against state authorities. She joined Wilsons in October 2019, after qualifying as a solicitor in September 2019.
Anastasia has experience of claims arising from the unlawful use of immigration detention, including where families were separated by the detention of a parent. She has assisted with challenges to the Home Office’s ‘hostile environment’ policy, including claims on behalf of a number of women unlawfully charged for NHS care. She has a particular interest in securing housing and support for people without recourse to public funds.
Anastasia is the co-convener of the Police Action Lawyers Group.
