Vacancies for IAAS Level 2 Immigration Caseworkers

We are one of the leading firms in the UK for immigration and refugee law. We are ranked in Band 1 for personal immigration in Chambers & Partners and we are described as 'exceptional' for asylum and immigration matters in the Legal 500.

We are pleased to announce we are recruiting IAAS Level 2 Immigration Caseworkers to join our committed team of over thirty specialists. We are looking for caseworkers with an interest in refugee law, detention work and general immigration law.

You should be accredited to Level 2 of the IAAS and have one year experience as a caseworker in this area. It is also desirable that you have a good academic record (a 2:1 degree) and ideally be able to show a commitment to this area of law through your academic studies or previous work experience, including voluntary or campaigning work. You should also have a commitment to working in the legal aid sector since the majority of the work is publicly funded.

This position is suitable for those already established in their career and those starting out (including those studying for their GDL, LPC or BVC part-time). For those looking to qualify as a solicitor this position can lead to a training contract.

We are looking to recruit permanent full time caseworkers but would also consider applicants who wish to work on a part-time basis or on an agency basis.

Starting salary is negotiable depending on experience.
