Wilsons are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract by the Legal Aid Agency in the category of actions against the police. The solicitor primarily specialising in actions against the police in our office is the excellent and meticulous Fred Piggott. We look forward to developing this area of work which is complementary to our established public law department. The firm has been very successful in bringing claims on behalf of people wrongly detained by the immigration authorities. Our contract in the actions against the police category will enable the firm to bring claims on behalf of people who have been mistreated by the police.
